Hello,
a bit about me:
My name is Feelisha Teewari (Ms. Teewari) and I am an Enthusiastic and equity-driven education leader with over 7 years of experience across instruction, coaching, and school administration. Proven record of designing inclusive curriculum, leading professional development, analyzing student data, and building strong family-school partnerships. Adept at supporting middle school learners through transparent communication, culturally responsive pedagogy, and restorative leadership.
I graduated from UCLA's Teacher Education Program in 2019. I was raised in the Sacramento-Modesto area in Northern California. I transferred from Las Positas Community College to University of California, Davis in 2015, and graduated with an English AB, as well as an Education minor in 2017. I began my journey as a social justice educator in 2017 and I have learned exponentially. My philosophy of education focuses on community building and creating an equitable environment for my students by implementing culturally relevant texts, demographic knowledge to make content relevant, and to provide students with individualized supports that will ensure success. My Masters Inquiry Project focused on Ethnomathematics and how integrating students' communities can improve mathematical performance.
